It's not easy to earn the "Gear" tattoo, but I'm up for a good challenge. I want to be a Klokateer and earn the tatt in the most "metal" of branding ceremonies. Don't forget....Dethklok....here.... TOMORROW!

Pain Waiver, check!
Kind of play on one of Dethklok's songs "Mermaider" from the DethAlbum. Again, they're coming to town July 5th on the DethTour. I can't wait! As you can see, I've already filled out my pain waiver.
For those not familiar with the band, they're on the show Metalocalypse that airs on Adult Swim. As for their music, well... it's "DethMetal". So there you have it. "The album debuted at #21 on the Billboard Top 200 list, making it the highest charted death metal album to date." (Wikipedia)
Why the Pain Waiver? It's because "the band members indirectly cause death and bad luck to those near them." If you're wondering where the Pain Waiver originated from check out the clip from S01E01 titled "The Curse of Dethklok". I've used this clip before in previous Dethklok posts so I'm sure some may recognize it (blog readers).

drinking, or more time with the GMILFs. I dig that he show the guitar
tabs while showing finger placement on the frets
I'd travel all the way to Mordhaus (deep in Mordland) to take lessons from either Skwisgaar or Toki

Either one would be fine with me, but Skwisgaar IS "The Fastest
Guitarist Alive" while Toki is second. I have much to learn from

Seth is getting married and sent an invitation to his brother Pickles (Dethklok drummer). It's stressing him out. The Tribunal investigates the institution of marriage. LMFAO @ the "livable hatred" line.

I caught the first episode to start the second half of season two after the long hiatus for the show Metalocalypse. The band is picking up where they left off with their misadventures. Pickles the drummer is stressed because his brother is getting married and he hates being around his family. There were two clips from that show that really made laugh my ass off.
The band ends up paying for this visit in more ways than one and has to perform (since everyone loves Dethklok) at the wedding reception. I'm interested in seeing how season two will wrap up. I'm also really looking forward to the Dethklok show coming to Dallas later this summer to promote The Dethalbum. \m/

I'm sure you can piece together from those two clips that the show is focusing on marriage and mocking it more or less...LMAO
Here's a few of my favorite songs that were loaded on to Guitar Hero. I was going to post the mp3s but didn't feel like waiting for them to load. I previously posted the tracks from the demo album, but hated the digital watermark used.

I was bored the other night so I decided to change out the wallpaper on my cellphone for something different. Some will recognize this one, for those that don't, it's Facebones. He's actually a character on Metalocalypse. His design is a mix of Mickey Mouse and Vic Rattlehead (Megadeth's mascot). Nice huh?
I actually had to load the hyper-mode cheat because playing at the regular tempo of the game (GH II design) was too slow when compared to GH III (non-hyper cheat). Crazy yes?
Anyway, I bought one of my favorite songs on GH II which is "Thunderhorse" from Dethklok! \m/ I had a 251 note streak going w/hyper-mode enabled. Yeah, I'm kind of a geek for admitting this, but wth. HA!
Here's the mp3 so you can check out Dethklok in their metalness.... I need to switch out the mp3 from the demo for the actual mp3 from the Dethalbum. I'll do it later. In the meantime....
