Yeah, it had me rolling.

I actually showed this clip to my dad on my iPhone yesterday, he laughed pretty hard.  He'll watch Family Guy with my niece, Peighton from time to time when it's on.  She doesn't quite get the humor behind the show, but still loves it.

I agree with the "list" too.

It's amazing what some fruit and random conversation can make you recall shows that you used to watch as a child.  Last night while at work, it hit me.  I was just snacking on a couple apples and a banana when one of the bartenders I worked with started the conversation.  I ended up staring down at what I at and then BAM. 

From out of nowhere I said to her the "Applecore" line.  She really didn't get it until one of the other guys I work with Ryan, he knew where I was going with it.  He played along and I faked like I was going to throw the core at Dori, we laughed.  I even told her where I was drawing reference from, she didn't get it.

Me: Hey Dori.  Applecore.

Dori: Huh?

Me: Applecore...

Ryan: Baltimore.

Me: Ahh you get it.... Who's your friend?

Ryan and Me: DORI! (faked the throw)

She more or less looked at us like we were high.  I then went into detail about the Walt Disney episode with Donald Duck, along with Chip 'n Dale.  She once again didn't recall that particular episode.  Oh well right?  I really couldn't expect everyone to remember those classic Disney cartoons.  Ahh, those wonderful trips down memory lane.  I remember watching the classic Walt Disney cartoons shortly after waking up back when I was a kid.  I'd run into the living room and change the television to the Disney Channel for "Good Morning Mickey" and then watch "Donald Duck Presents", which later became "Quack Attack". 

I used to get so mad at the animators and story writers for what I felt was picking on Donald Duck (my favorite character by the way).  I always thought there were hardly any episodes where he'd come out on top in the end.  Bah.  Here's the entire "Applecore" episode for your viewing pleasure.  While talking to the girlfriend about this post, she did her Donald Duck angry quack.  I smiled.  He was her favorite character as well.  Anyway, enjoy.
Those were the days.  I haven't seen those aired in some time.  At least we have shows like "Family Guy" using the classics in their episodes.

...and on that note we have a new Family Guy seuqel to "Blue Harvest".  They're bringing in the Giant Chicken as Boba Fett... that's right THE FETT!  This episode will be called "Something Something Something Darkside".
