What else can I say other than it was once again BRUTAL!  Dethklok stopped in Dallas to play at the House of Blues (same venue as last year's DethTour stop).  I got a late start to my night of Death Metal because I was at the mall browsing for some "DethMerch", but decided against buying anything until the concert.  I parked valet at the venue because I didn't want to have to run 8 blocks like last year (true story).  I walked inside and had seen the venue was packed so I made my way upstairs.  What I didn't realize until later was that I could've just hung out in the pit all night if I wanted.  Even though I purchased assigned seating for the show, I could have freely made my way downstairs to mosh.  Damn.

The show began with Eddie making an appearance.  The crowd approved, then we watched the animated set begin with a tribunal meeting.  It was very similar to last year's show but with some of the new songs thrown in and the order mixed about.  The sound was intense, the energy in that place was great.  The pit was raging, I wanted to jump from the second floor (think back to a CKY vid) and on top of the crowd so I could surf.  I kept taking pictures, video and didn't get to enjoy the show as much as I wanted because I was trying to snag as many shots as I could.  HA!  Next time.... next time.
